WHAT WE DO...
We apply a low foaming ph neutral cleaner to the framework and glazing. This begins breaking down algae and contamination.
Using a brush or plush wash mitt, we aggitate the lantern frame and glass to help remove stubborn grime.
Using fresh water we rinse the roof, before applying our ceramic protectant, and rinsing once again. This protectant helps to rinse and boost shine.
Gutter surrounds are clerared and cleaned of all debris.
The glazing and panels are cleaned using our glass cleaner for a streak free shine. The protective plastic is then removed.
FAQ's
How do you get access the roof?
We usually use our ladder to safely access the roof, but occasionally we might need to use our scaffolding tower instead.
Do you need access to a tap?
Yes. We will need access to a tap as we use regular water for the initial clean, before switching to our filtered water for the final glass
What happens if it rains?
We will still clean your lantern in the rain. As long as there are no high winds, snow and the temp is above 3c, there should be no reason for us to postpone.
Are your products safe for self cleaning glass?
They sure are. We develop our own cleaning products specifically for our needs, and our glass cleaning method is approved by all glass manufacturers.
